1 pound ground turkey
1 pound Italian Sausage
1 cup chopped spinach
1/4 cup flaxseed meal
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning, a pinch of red chili flakes
*Oil for cooking, Coconut oil preferably
Preheat oven to 400, line a baking pan with parchment paper
Combine all ingredients, except the cooking oil in a large bowl. Use your hands to mix thoroughly.
Heat a large pan to medium-high, add in a generous amount of oil. Because we are going to finish these in the oven, we only need to brown the outside of each meatball.
Once the meatballs are browned on at least two sides, transfer them to a baking dish, and cook for 10 – 15 minutes.
